Ali Hajaig | Partner/CEO
Ali is a founding partner of Neurology Associates of the East Valley. He has extensive health care administration experience in the United States and has done business in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. He received the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium Innovation Champion Award in 2009, and The Phoenix Business Journal Outstanding CFO Award in 2015. He earned his Master of Public Administration degree from Arizona State University and is currently working on his PhD in Justice and Social Transformation.
James Louy | Practice Administrator
James Louy has over 16 years of management experience and is working on his degree in Healthcare Management. He finds great satisfaction in making sure his team is happy and working cohesively to provide the best quality experience for the guests of Neurology Associates. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling the world with his wife, collecting Lego and Sideshow Collectables and watching his favorite team in baseball, the Red Sox.
Christina Finley | CPC, Billing Manager
Christina is a Certified Professional Coder and Medical Billing Specialist with over 12 years of experience in the health care industry. She earned her Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership in 2016 at Arizona State University. She has been with us since 2012. Christina enjoys spending time with family.
Leslie Hajaig | Business Development Manager
Leslie earned her Master of Public Administration at Arizona State University. She worked as a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner for 9 years then transitioned to Development for various local nonprofits. She joined the practice in 2015. Leslie is passionate about quality patient services and applies her personal experience as a patient with a rare brain disease to provide the best possible customer service.
Anne Church | Patient Support Specialist
Anne joined our practice in 2014 after moving here from Farmington New Mexico. She has 20 years of experience in medical field working in customer service, front desk, referrals, and authorizations. In her spare time, she and her new husband enjoy riding their bike and taking road trips both short and long across country.
Danielle Mischle | Patient Support Specialist
Danielle joined our team 4 years ago to learn more about neurological diseases impacting her family members. She has also lived in Colorado and Hawaii. Her background includes hotel management and she has been a Licensed Cosmetologist for 12 years. She is enthusiastic about greeting our patients and spends her off time with her young son and new baby.
Joselynn Carranza | Patient Support Specialist
Joselynn joins our practice with 4 years of experience in healthcare. She has worked in ophthalmology, optometry and urology. She is bilingual speaking Spanish and English to better serve our patients at the front desk at our Chandler clinic. Joselynn has taken classes at Mesa Community College and plans to return to school studying business administration at Grand Canyon University.
Cameo Hall | Scheduling Coordinator
Cameo is working on his Marketing degree at Chandler Gilbert Community College. He joined our team in 2015 and previously, he was a Certified Diamontologist for 10 years. In addition to helping patients schedule their appointments, he owns his own business breeding Bearded Dragons and building reptile enclosures. He enjoys music, and spending time with his family doing physical activities like hiking, and sports.
Rita Aguayo | Scheduling Coordinator
Rita joined our team in 2017 with 20 years of experience in the medical field including Office Supervisor, front desk, scheduling, authorizations, and medical records to name a few. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Rita loves to cook and when she’s is not working, she’s a volunteer chef for various fundraisers benefitting cancer survivors.
Jennifer Udell, CPC | Billing Specialist
Jennifer has worked in various aspects of the medical field for 15 years, including front office, back office and billing. She is a Certified Medical Coder and joined our practice in 2012. She currently has 10 years of experience in billing for primary care and neurology. She enjoys spending time with her family in outdoor activities.
Ghadir Hojeij | Billing Specialist
Ghadir earned her Accounting Administration degree in Canada and has worked in the financial field in the United States since 2014. She is bilingual speaking English and Arabic and has extensive customer service and sales experience. Ghadir is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business at Arizona State University. When she is not in the office, she is studying and building her online fashion business and brand.
Yvette Herrera | Insurance verification coordinator
Yvette trained at Pima Medical Institute to be a Medical Administrative Assistant. She has worked in health care for 15 years, mostly in primary care, in various capacities including verifications, billing and referrals. She joined our practice 3 years ago. She enjoys spending time with her boys and husband and makes amazing designer cakes for friends and family.
Kristen Singh | Prior Authorization Coordinator
Kristen has worked in prior authorizations for 15 years in various specialties including oncology, and sports medicine. She is trained as a medical assistant and earned her certification in Clinical Back Office from the International Institute of the Americas.
Andrea Yepez | Licensed Professional Nurse
Andrea joined our team in 2017 to help in the Casa Grande and Mesa clinics. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She earned her LPN nursing degree from Gateway Community College where she is currently working on a Registered Nursing degree. Andrea has a background as a Care Navigator helping patients sign up for government aid programs and the Health Insurance Marketplace.
Alaina Louy | EEG Technician
Alaina earned her Bachelor of Psychology and Associates in Neuro-diagnostics. She became Board Registered in 2013. She has worked in the medical field for 5 years and is well known for putting her patients at ease and making them comfortable. She enjoys spending time with her family and 4 kitties and is a baseball fan. She also enjoys video games and checking out new restaurants.
Patricia Goeco | EEG, EMG & VENG Technician
Patricia earned her Associates of Applied Science and EEG/END Technology degree from Gateway Community College in 2014. She worked at Chandler Regional Medical Center as an EEG Technician and at Barrow Neurological Institute as an IONM Technician. Before the medical field, Patricia owned her own catering and craft service company in Phoenix and worked as a personal assistant helping busy families with caring for elderly parents.
Andrea Jones (AJ) | Lead Medical Assistant
AJ earned her Medical Assistant Degree from Kaplan College in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2009. She has worked in health care for 8 years and has experience in various specialties including cardiology, oncology, wound care, and family care. She is passionate about helping her patients and her role model is her 105 year old grandmother who advocates for taking good care of your health. AJ loves horseback riding, hiking, river tubing, playing pool and basketball.
Claudia Alvez | Medical Assistant
Claudia earned her Medical Assisting degree from Pima Medical Institute in 2013 and she joined our practice in 2014. She is fluent in English and Spanish. When she’s not at work, Claudia is a busy mom with 3 small children. She is known for boutique photo shoots of kids that she produces herself from home.
Ariana Valenzuela | Medical Assistant
Ariana joined out team in 2017 with experience in Neurology. She earned her degree in Clinical Medical Assisting from Pima Medical Institute. When she’s not working, you can find her on the beach in California or hitting the rides at amusement parks.
Edward Santa Cruz | Medical Assistant
Edward came to us from Seattle, Washington with 7 years of experience in healthcare. He received his training from Pima Medical Institute for medical assisting and Chandler-Gilbert Community College for emergency medicine. In his free time, Edward enjoys soccer, tennis, and rugby. His passion is making a positive impact in patients’ lives.
Seth Jones | Medical Assistant
Seth is a military veteran with 12 years of experience in the medical field. He served in the United States Navy and Marine Corps for 8 years, including deployment to Iraq. Seth retired as a US Navy Non-Commissioned Officer E-5 and a Squad Leader in the US Marines Corps. Seth is a registered Medical Assistant and an excellent phlebotomist and has worked in an occupational health clinic for 2 years in the West Valley. When Seth is not at work, he spends time with his wife, 4 cats & kittens, a German Shepard, and a new puppy.
